How to solve the plastic injection molding mold release difficulties

After the plastic injection molding, the plastic parts are taken out from the mold cavity, and the demolding work is generally completed at one time, no matter the single or multi-component ejector mechanism is used. However, sometimes, due to the special shape of the plastic part or the need for production automation, the plastic part is still difficult to be taken out from the cavity or cannot be taken off automatically after the completion of one demolding work, then another demolding action must be added to make the plastic part come off. The difficulty of demolding is mainly because the gate or the plastic part is tight in the mold. The reasons for this are

I. Equipment: Insufficient ejector force.

II, the mold aspect

(1) unreasonable structure or improper position of the mold release.

(2) Insufficient slope of demoulding.

(3) Too high mold temperature or poor ventilation.

(4) Rough wall of sprue or cavity surface.

(5) The nozzle and mold inlet coincide not obedient or nozzle diameter is greater than the diameter of the inlet.

III, the process

(1) The barrel temperature is too high or the injection volume is too much.

(2) Injection pressure is too high or holding pressure and cooling time is long.

IV, raw materials: insufficient lubricant.

The traditional plastic molded parts of the mold release method are roughly divided into four kinds of top, push, pump, spin.

Now there is the latest mold release technology that can easily solve the plastic mold release problem. In the plastic mold industry, especially the need to use a variety of resin compounds for highly complex design, the appearance of high gloss finishing, there are many unsolvable problems.

Nano release coating can form a coating on the surface of plastic molds, even on the surface of plastic mold inserts, which can significantly reduce the friction coefficient of these surfaces and achieve a high gloss finish without the use of traditional release agents. Even in cases where the design and plastic compounds are used to make machine/tool maintenance downtime long, resulting in low production yields.

In critical cases where it is not economically feasible, nano-release coatings can extend uninterrupted production time and significantly reduce machine/tool maintenance downtime. Maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of plastic mold production and reduce waste. Nano-release coatings not only improve the smoothness and accuracy of plastic mold surfaces but also dramatically increase the productivity of the plastic mold manufacturing industry!
